Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Sitaram Ayurveda platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sitaram Ayurveda (operated by Dot Com Inventions).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using the Sitaram Ayurveda platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including patients, doctors, yoga instructors, and administrators.
2. Platform Description
Sitaram Ayurveda is a digital healthcare platform that connects patients with certified Ayurvedic practitioners for: • Audio, video, and in-person consultations • Digital prescription management • Yoga and wellness session enrollment • Medical record storage and sharing The platform is a facilitator — not a direct healthcare provider. All medical advice is provided by independent, verified Ayurvedic doctors.
3. User Eligibility
To use this platform: • You must be at least 18 years old. Users below 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian • You must provide accurate, complete registration information • You must have a valid mobile number and email address for OTP verification • Doctors must hold a valid BAMS/MD (Ayurveda) degree and State Ayurveda Council registration
4. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT — Please read carefully: • Consultations on this platform are for general Ayurvedic guidance and are NOT a substitute for emergency medical care • In case of a medical emergency, please contact emergency services (108) immediately • Prescriptions issued here are for Ayurvedic medicines only — not allopathic drugs • The platform does not guarantee treatment outcomes • Doctors are independent practitioners; Sitaram Ayurveda is not liable for individual medical advice given
5. Appointments & Cancellations
Booking policy: • Appointments are confirmed only after successful payment • Cancellation > 24 hours before: 100% refund • Cancellation 2–24 hours before: 50% refund • Cancellation < 2 hours before or no-show: no refund • Doctors may cancel appointments for genuine reasons — full refund issued automatically • Rescheduling is permitted up to 2 hours before the appointment at no charge
6. Payments
Payment terms: • All payments processed securely via Razorpay • Prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days • Platform may charge a service fee in addition to doctor consultation fees (disclosed at checkout) • Yoga session fees are non-refundable once the session has begun
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: • Provide false medical information that could affect diagnosis or treatment • Harass, threaten, or abuse doctors, staff, or other users • Use the platform for any illegal purpose • Share your account credentials with third parties • Attempt to bypass security controls or access other users' data • Upload inappropriate, obscene, or non-medical content Violation of conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension.
8. Doctor Obligations
Doctors registered on the platform agree to: • Maintain valid BAMS/MD registration with their State Ayurveda Council • Conduct consultations professionally and within their scope of practice • Issue prescriptions only for conditions within Ayurvedic practice guidelines • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times • Update availability accurately to avoid patient inconvenience • Not solicit patients outside the platform for the duration of registration
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform — including text, design, logos, software code, and processes — is the intellectual property of Sitaram Ayurveda / Dot Com Inventions. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. Patient-generated content (medical records, prescriptions) remains the property of the patient.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: • Sitaram Ayurveda is not liable for medical outcomes from consultations • We are not responsible for network or technical failures during video consultations • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that caused the claim • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thrissur, Kerala. We encourage resolution of disputes through our support system before pursuing legal action.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
